November 05, 2012

E-commerce specialist runs industry event at new London HQ on 14 November

NimbleCommerce, the leading local marketing and e-commerce platform, has confirmed details of its first European Customer Summit.

The free event will be held on 14 November 2012 at NimbleCommerce's new and expanded UK headquarters, on Old Broad Street in the City of London.

The all-day event will provide key insights into monetisation strategies and effective email marketing for the offers industry, with the aim of helping businesses drive more revenue from their e-commerce offers and deals.

The keynote address examining new and emerging trends in the coupon industry will be delivered by mobile internet guru Greg Sterling. Greg is the founder of Sterling Market Intelligence, senior analyst at Internet2Go Opus Research and an expert on the internet's impact on offline consumer behaviour, sharing experiences and insights on his popular Screenwerk blog.

"NimbleCommerce is doing very innovating things in the e-commerce space," says Sterling. "I'm excited to be speaking at the company's first European Customer Summit."

The summit will also examine the benefits of the recently launched NimbleNetwork, the first ever peer-to-peer deal-sharing network; NimbleCommerce's new product features and the chance to network with thought leaders and NimbleCommerce customers.

"We're really excited to host our first Customer Summit in Europe as it is a great platform to share best practice in the offers industry as well as an ideal opportunity to introduce both existing and new customers to the NimbleNetwork and deal sharing," says Peter Casey, European Director at NimbleCommerce.

"The NimbleNetwork is a unique marketing collective and just like the summit, encourages our customers to source and share deals with each other, to open distribution channels and ultimately drive additional revenue," continues Casey.

NimbleCommerce was founded by industry expert Prashant Nedungadi in California's Silicon Valley just three years ago and has grown to become the e-commerce platform of choice for some of the largest publishers and brands operating in the discount economy. Nedungadi will also be presenting the future of offers with NimbleCommerce at the summit.
